Shringeri Temple
  • Sringeri was the site of the first of the four Peethas (centers) established by the great sage Adi Shankaracharya, the founder of the Advaita philosophy. Sringeri has the Sharda Temple dedicated to Sharadamba, Goddess of Learning and Wisdom. The temple is famed for the matchless beauty of the idol.
Hornad Temple
  • Horanadu Annapoorneshwari Temple is dedicated to Goddess Annapoorneshwari and is located on the banks of River Bhadra in Horanadu, in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. The town of Horanadu is also popular as “Sri Kshethra Horanadu”in respect of the Goddess.
Hariarpura Temple
  • Hariharapura is one of the Dharmapeetam directly established by Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya. At present as a part of the reconstruction of ancient Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple at Hariharapura we consecrated a “Karya Siddi Garuda Yantram” and also we installed a Unique “ Vajra Sthambha Lakshmi Narasimha Maha Yantram.”
Jog falls
  • The second-highest plunge waterfall in India, Jog Falls is a major tourist attraction in Karnataka and is the highest waterfall in the state. Second, to the Nohkalikai Falls of Meghalaya, Jog falls drops about a huge 253 m (850 ft. ) in a single fall. However, due to the construction of Linganamakki Dam which is a hydroelectricity plant closeby, the flow in the falls is hugely restricted before monsoons.
Agumbe
  • Agumbe Is a village situated in the Thirthahalli taluka of Shivamogga district, Karnataka, India. It is nestled in the thickly forested Malenadu region of the Western Ghats mountain range. Owing to its high rainfall, it has received the epithet of "The Cherrapunji of South India", after Cherrapunji, one of the rainiest places in India.

    Agumbe is associated with rainforest conservation efforts, documentation of medicinal plants, tourism (trekking and photography), and the promotion of cottage industry. The Agumbe Rainforest Research Station was established as a sanctuary for the King Cobra, Agumbe's flagship species.
